About Tirefolio

Tirefolio is an independent tire reference: fitment, pricing, and side-by-side reviews for passenger and light-truck tires. The site exists because the existing alternatives — manufacturer microsites, affiliate-funded listicles, and forum threads — each give you part of the picture but never the whole. Our job is to put fitment data, factual specs, and live merchant prices in one place, in a format that respects your time.

Who runs the site

The editorial work — verifying fitments against manufacturer placards, importing UTQG numbers from NHTSA, writing comparisons — is done by Mark Bishop, a long-time procurement editor who also runs SaaS True Cost. Mark verifies every spec he publishes against a primary source (manufacturer documentation, NHTSA records, or direct retailer listings) before it goes live.

How we make money

Affiliate commissions on tire purchases made through our links to SimpleTire, Priority Tire, TireBuyer, and Tire Rack. Display advertising via Google AdSense on guide pages. We do not accept paid placement and do not reorder content based on commission rate. See methodology for the details.
